The Fundamental Divide….. Why Conservatives cannot bargain with socialists

We see politics play out year after year and election cycle after election cycle and yet even when we ‘win’ we seem to lose in the end.  We support candidates that promise to change things and yet in the end when the opposition comes back into power we are farther back down the road than we were after all that effort and our hopes and dreams being dashed yet again on the rocks.  It seems futile and to a large extent it is.  People who believe in freedom need to learn what the differences are between us and the socialists beyond the party descriptions.

As a conservative I am one who believes in the founding and freedoms we inherently have just from being born in this nation and as a human being.  I loathe big government and abhor government overreach like pretty much everyone who thinks of themselves as conservative, libertarian or simply just free Americans.

Our dreams are of a free nation unencumbered from onerous government regulations and that our fellow citizens all enjoy the prosperity and self determination we do in a safe and peaceful society.  We want our nation to be the ‘Beacon on the Hill’ that it has aptly been described as in the past.  ‘Land of the Free’ and ‘Home of the Brave’.  We want to see term limits and the purge of career politicians from our Congress and the thinning of the bureaucracy to the bare minimum needed to maintain the peace and to keep our borders safe and closed to any illegal migration and trade.  To us these are simple and comprehensive ideals that ought be easily put in place if our elected officials had the guts and determination to.  We know who we are.  Our beliefs are elemental and beautifully simple.  We understand this.

Who or perhaps more importantly What is our enemy?

Our enemy comes with the party name of Democrat but that is a name and not their purpose.  Our enemy is socialism and beyond that, tyranny.  Tyranny of bloated government and tyranny of leadership that does not answer to the people.  The democrats of late use the term socialism and we need to understand what that means.  It is more than sharing wealth.

Socialism is the system coined by a fellow named Thomas Moore back in the early 1500’s.  Moore described a ‘Utopian’ society that would include all the notions of socialism and none of the drawbacks of greed and envy.  People were to be altruistic and work for the common good.  This was expounded upon by Karl Marx in the 1800’s who offered an alternative version called communism.  All of this, whether it is socialism or communism looks great in print but leaves the essential human behavior characteristics out.  It is the failings of man that create the corruption and misery that humankind has endured for ages.  Greed.  Envy.  Nefarious plots and plans.  Wars and suffering all emanate from the pursuits of power and property by the state.

Our current crop of democrats preach socialism and forget to mention the failings of that system.    If you look at the current leadership in DC you see a bunch of democratic and republican politicians who have decades of time in office each all clamoring to stay in office and hold onto their power and influence.

Ever wonder why no newcomer outside of Trump has ever made it to the presidency????  It is this cabal of power hungry politicians who will tell you anything to stay in power.  Just because we change the name of our type of government or society this has no effect upon the true collection of elites who hold the reins over our society.  These leaders claim to be acting in the public good but in fact, they are acting to protect their power and controls.  See the fences and razor wire in DC?  That is a perfect example of what I am talking about. That all serves to keep the common citizens away and so the elites all are safe as they plot and scheme to keep their power and all the while expand it.

Prior to the creation of the United States of America there had never been a ‘free’ society on earth.  Never had there been a society where the government was forbidden to usurp the rights of the citizens.  Prior to our inception nations were monarchies and despotic regimes or tribal societies which are in essence monarchies.  They all shared traits of leadership controlling the masses and therefore perpetuating their hold on power.  These leaderships could be somewhat benign or ruthless.  The people had little choice but to survive as they could within the framework of their nation-state.

America was founded as a free nation but yet today we see the erosion of our rights and the ever increasing size of the governing class who rule over us.  The notion of the government serving us is long gone these days.  We serve them by supporting their economic plans and paying taxes for programs and actions we disapprove of and yet, even when we win elections we cannot stop them completely.

Our enemy, therefore, is not the democrats but the constant growth of government and the lack of accountability of the elected classes to the people.  As I mentioned in my previous essay, we are fighting against greed and the hunger for power and our only hope of achieving our goals is to eliminate the corruption that exists in DC and our state capitals as well as even in our cities, towns and villages if need be.  How this would take place is a very good and yet, difficult to answer question.

You can add to this list of elites all the brainwashed true believers (citizens) who embrace socialism all the while saying, ‘It will be different this time’, ‘Our leaders will do it right this time’ while ignoring the human factors of greed, lust and envy that permeates our history and all of the leaders you can read about.  You cannot convince these drones that the failings will remain and they refuse to believe that an armed citizen is the best insurance against totalitarianism.  These drones are themselves as dangerous as the elites because they willingly surrender their rights that could otherwise protect them from an unjust government.

It is more than doubtful that any of the leadership in DC will allow a meaningful term limits legislation to be passed and all that would do is slow them down.  They, the socialists, are too well organized and funded to go quietly into the night and all this would accomplish if term limits were imposed is that they would run carbon copy candidates one after another to replace the last all with the same agenda goals in mind which are to disarm the populace so as to maintain complete control over society without ever the threat of being overthrown in a revolution.  They have read of the French Revolution inspired by America’s new found independence and the frequent use of the guillotine by the peasants as they exacted their revenge upon the higher classes for hundreds of years of economic and societal abuse.

If you understand that the enemy is not a political party  and that it is the hunger and quest for power and wealth by the political elite you then begin to understand why it is so damn difficult to advance a freedom loving agenda in our nation.  They have gone to great lengths to erode our freedom and are now in the process of trying to take our last means of resisting them away from us.  I am referring to the neutering of the Second Amendment and our freedom to keep and bear arms.

If this last essential freedom is rendered moot we are fairly well done for as a free nation.  They will crow about a safer and better place to be but in the end when the only ones holding a lethal weapon are the government in the form of its soldiers and law enforcement, you are not free.  You are a prisoner.

Once a person understands that we are fighting the oligarchs just as the founders fought the crown of England you begin  to see the reasons why bargaining and reasoning with the political class in DC is pointless.  We could not negotiate with the crown in 1775 just as we cannot change anything in 4 years of Trump because we are fighting not just the 535 elected representatives but also the entire bloated carcass of government agencies and officials in DC as well as our state capitals and our local communities.  At some time we will be forced to decide whether we stand as a united group of citizens who oppose any further erosion of our rights in any location within our nation regardless of what has already been enacted to suppress our rights or we will surrender our remaining freedoms piecemeal to an ever burgeoning corrupt leadership class that honestly cares more about staying in power than anything else. We need to restore our nations founding beliefs and reset the government to what it was intended to be: A citizen politician who serves one or two terms and goes home. We must end this class of political elites who have taken our rights away from us a piece at a time.

It is getting to the times when we will be asked to stand and defend the founding of our nation as it was intended.  Little else we will be able to do will make any more of a difference than our readiness to resist these oligarchs in DC who are ruling outside of the intent of the founders and who are conspiring to end the United States of America as it was founded, once and for all.

Understanding human behavior and how socialism is incompatible with it!!

While socialism has been a relatively new idea of perhaps 300-500 years what has been a constant throughout mankind’s history is the tendency of organized man to create monarchies and tyranny.

Consider that prior to the establishment of the American Nation there had been no nation, or organized group of mankind that had ever considered that the rights of man are bestowed upon the citizens by their creator or at birth if you prefer.  In all the history of man, limits were always placed on opportunities and freedoms of the vast majority of the citizenry based on the desires of the leader of their community.  In a monarchy you lived at the pleasure of the monarch.  If you were a noble man you have far more rights than the servant or lower classes.  For instance, a field worker could not decide to quit tending the fields and start a business because businesses were the sole province of the higher classes.  Likewise, you would never be able to move up the social stratum no matter how capable or resourceful you were.  Your fate was decided at your birthright based on the community, nation, tribe or otherwise you lived in.  It does not matter if you were in a tribe or a kingdom.  Before our revolution and freedom from England, no nation had ever embraced freedom so completely and to the purpose of reducing government power over the citizens within that nation.

The notion of shared assets and shared resources was novel and in all honesty flies in the face of basic human instinct.  People naturally seek to collect and protect their own property and resources and do not wish to share them based on any decisions other than their own.  To establish a governmental system of socialism may sound well and good but despite the great sales pitch the self centered nature of man will still exist and people will when the opportunity allows act for their selfish interests to the detriment of the socialist system.  In this way no socialist system has actually succeeded that has been tried no matter how determined or how idealistic the leadership was.

The leadership classes no matter what system is in place whether it is monarchy, tribal, totalitarian, or otherwise all seek to protect their power and control thus preventing upward mobility of the masses. In the process these leaders also claim an unfair portion of the pie in terms of resources and the bounty of the labors of the lower classes.  The government sees itself as being more important than the citizen and this is the core of our present problem here in the United States.  In the past prior to our revolution this was universally true. Those that control a government go to great pains to see to it they will always control the government. That seems especially true today with the current democrat party in DC as well as all of the deep state and too many of the republican party.

Historically, our Declaration of Independence was not just a statement of freedom but also a declaration of war. It served as well as the death warrant for all that signed the document and also all who fought to win our freedom.  Our timing was very critical in our success in winning our freedom. France was at war with England and had the majority of the British military tied up in the prosecution of that war.  Had we declared independence at a time when this was not the case it is more than likely we would have lost our bid for independence and we would remain today a satellite of the British Empire. I wonder if the founders who have dared such a dangerous act had this not been the case but that is a subject for another time.

After we won the war our founders set forth to create a government unlike any that had been on the earth previously.  They set forth to enshrine in our founding documents the guarantee of individual liberty from the government and any potential interference from the leaders and legislative bodies.  They knew of the corrupt nature of men in power and sought to create a system where these greedy people in power could not enslave the citizens of the United States of America by decree.  Quite obviously we have seen this notion be put to a severe test and especially so as of late.

The problem that our founders feared is real and they knew that if a greedy corrupt politician, bureaucrat or leader could they would do all they can to create a system in our nation where the powerful get more and more power and the average citizen in more and more in servitude to the government which is the opposite of what was intended.  Despite their best efforts we have fallen in the very trap they knew could befall us if our freedoms from excessive government controls were infringed.

Today we see people who use the phrases socialism and justice to rationalize the gradual stripping away of our rights as citizens of this nation as they were intended to be at the outset of our founding.  These politicians are corrupt, career types who will stop at nothing to ensure they remain in power and cannot be held in check by the people.  The latest election thievery is proof of their having accomplished their goals.  We are now facing the loss of our freedom of expression, and our freedom to keep and bear arms as well as the constant erosion of the security of our borders and the appurtenant risks to our health and safety within our own communities due to the lack of control over immigration and the illegal drug trade flourishing in the void of where our borders are not secure.

We are fast approaching a time where we will be forced to choose to defend our rights with whatever force and determination is required or to surrender them once and for all to the government thereby ending the unique and special nature that our nation had at its founding.  If we choose to fight we will see great opposition from the establishment founded by the corrupt politicians and bureaucrats in our capitals.  They stand to lose everything that they have illicitly gained by corrupting our system of governance.  This is the real problem we face because if it comes to a scenario where we will be facing the forces of the government aligned to stop us from being free Americans we will be required to not only subdue the armed forces aligned against us but also to deal with the corrupt individuals who have perverted our nation into what it has become today.  I say we will be forced to physically confront the government because even if we elect 10 Trumps in a row these power hungry weasels will still be lurking. You cannot leave a socialism loving politician to act freely within our nation and not expect that they will simply do what they did to us at present all over again.  This is testament to the corrupt nature of many and the greed that accompanies that. Sadly, we are well past that point of a political resolution of our problems. The deep state bureaucracy and the corrupt politicians are just too vast and there are too many of them to overcome in order to reset our nation to what it was intended to be.

Socialism has been proven to not work.  It may see as if it is a noble, fair, and caring way to run a society but in the end the ones who reap the benefits without doing their fair share of the work are the ones who support it the most.  This is why it is so easy to sell the notion of socialism to a bunch of people who for whatever reason feel that it is not fair to have to work for your own future and for people to be responsible for their decisions good or bad in their past.

In reality, the freedom to create and make for oneself a future that is better than it is at present is the great motivator that created the most prosperous nation in the world that our nation was up until recently.  People will not work as diligently or as efficiently if they are expected to give up a major portion of their earning solely so others who do not work as hard can have the same benefits and lifestyle.  That flies against human nature which is to do and act to improve your lot in life.  In contrast, a capitalistic system allows for upward mobility based on abilities and dedication of an individual as well as self fulfillment in the process.

Having been an employer at one time in my life I learned that people are inherently self centered and that if they do not have a need to produce they will not endeavor to do so.  They will seek acceptance of excuses in lieu of their performing their tasks fully and yet still expecting their salary.  This is more than enough for me to know that a socialist system will attempt to spread the wealth but will only succeed in increasing the number of people who for one reason or another did not produce as well as reducing normally productive people’s desire to produce.

Ultimately, we cannot hope for an idealistic system to work that is predicated on people acting against inbred self centered human characteristics.  People will not act with a virtuous nature if their reward is to not be what they believe their efforts deserve.  In a socialist system you are not allowed to set your price for your labors and worse yet, you are expected to contribute to support others who do not produce as much value (if any at all)  per work period as you do. Eventually the system will collapse under its own weight of non-productiveness and bureaucracy.

Ultimately the only way to accept the basic human behaviors and allow for people to succeed and have freedom is to use a system that we already have but has been completely perverted by the left and the deep state.  You cannot expect people to surrender their freedoms, their fruits of their labors and their rights to free speech and self protection and create a society that will be successful.  It may seem that it is at the outset but eventually there will be an uprising.  This is because people know the difference between being a subject who is held accountable by the government system and a free person who holds their government accountable to them.  The government may try to purge every mention of freedom and the founding from our kids educations but truly freedom loving people will always make sure their descendants know of the special nature of our nation’s founding and why it was unique and a bright and shining light to all.

A quick historical note:  After the American Revolution and our success, the French staged a revolution and the people took over and held the bureaucracy and royalty as well as the aristocracy responsible for their centuries old subjugation and  proceeded to fire up the Guillotine in the center of Paris and kept it busy for quite some time.  They saw that the American people were free and they wanted to be free themselves.  They also wanted to ensure that the bureaucracy could not return.  Our leadership class might better take notes as they are creating a similar potential situation as occurred in the late 1700’s in France.

Our unique founding was a blessing created by men of vision who saw that the corrupt nature of leadership required limits and that a free people could be the happiest people and that any suppression of the people would create unfairness.  Even in light of this some people say our founding was flawed because it did not outright ban slavery but you have to recognize that our enshrined freedoms that people recognized and cherished were the motivations that led to the Civil War and the emancipation of all slaves.  Had our founders not been so determined to create a set of documents that would promote freedom over all else this would likely not have happened.  You can condemn the thinking of men almost 250 years ago but you have to admire their ability to see that the idea of a free people is a contagious one and it has spread not only throughout our nation but throughout the world as a result. Prior to the creation of our nation and our founding documents the idea of absolute personal freedom in a nation did not exist.

We are coming to a crossroads  and soon we will be forced to choose.  Will we remain the beacon of freedom for the rest of the world or will we surrender to the monarchical system that a highly controlling government presents?  I myself prefer freedom over that and as Patrick Henry so eloquently stated, ‘Give me Freedom or give me death!!!’.  I cannot agree more with that notion.

Our Republic died yesterday !!

We have entered the Dark Times.  Our Republic has died.  What has emerged is nothing that resembles our founding and our Constitution and Bill of Rights.

They are coming for us.  We, the believers in inherent human rights.  Believers in the rights of the individual over the rights of the collective.  If they cannot subdue us with their laws and regulations they will resort to the sword.

Our last line of defense (within the framework of a civil society), the Supreme Court, has decided that the citizens of the nation cannot have a hearing regarding the corruption and malfeasance of those who conducted the recent election.  They would not allow a discussion on the obvious cheating having taken place which has put the veracity of the election completely in question.  Apparently, politics has infiltrated the highest court in the land rendering it to be the equivalent of a kangaroo court more likely to be found in some banana republic than in our once great nation.

The left has started the process of reversing the Trump economy and taking us to the worst of the Obama years in one fell swoop.  It is obvious that our economy will go into a massive recession within weeks of Lyin’ Biden’s inauguration.   This will make the collapse in 2008 look like a minor bump in the road.  The left wants this.  They want people looking to the government for rescue.  Then they will hold all the cards.

Ultimately this is not about policy; it is about control.  In order to create their utopian socialist state they must gain control over the population.  They will do so with coercion and propaganda.  This has been started in our schools and has gone on for over 20 years now so it is well underway.  They also realize that there is a large contingent of citizens who will not comply.  They have planned for this.

They are coming for our guns…believe it!!!

If we are armed, we are dangerous.  If we are armed we can deny them control over our lives.  If we are armed we can potentially overturn their regime.  We are more dangerous to them than any other nation on earth.  Disarming us ‘For the good of society’ is their only way of getting universal control over our society.

Once we are disarmed, we will be dealt with based on our level of cooperation, much like the Chinese and how they deal with dissidents.  Those who persist in critiquing the government and society will be ‘relocated’ to a ‘safe’ area in order to protect them from the rest of the citizens.  Yeah; right.  Need proof, look at the Uighurs in China who have been treated poorly, isolated, ostracized and starved and worked to death in ‘re-education camps’.

What is the best way to create a rebellion that restores the Constitution and Bill of Rights?  I do believe that a regional approach will have the quickest and most successful path.  Pockets of resistance will be isolated and eliminated with great prejudice.  Only by unifying in large areas and by creating an organized force can our values and beliefs be kept safe from the globalists.  Secession is definitely on the table.

I pose the final and ultimate question to all true patriots.

If you live in an area that is blue controlled and there was a rising and developing red state movement to free the nation of socialist tyranny, would you relocate to that area to support and fight for freedom?

As I said, it will be tantamount to suicide to stay in areas such as upstate NY if the proverbial SHTF.  The socialists will either come and kill every resistor or isolate and starve them out by denying food, power, and any medical or technology from getting to that area of resistance.  They will encroach gradually on the area until a pitched battle erupts and then the military will be called in to destroy the rest.  Don’t believe for a minute that our military will not strike against US citizens.  The left has purged as many conservative officers as they can and to the enlisted holding the axe of food and housing over a soldier’s family is a big threat.  Keep in mind, Officers make up most of the pilot contingent.

So, barring a miracle, we will see the nation accelerate towards the eventual socialist crap hole we fear with the attendant discrimination and expectations of conformity.  Even if by miracle Trump serves a second term, this process is still ongoing.  The goals of the left are plain and will not be altered by the presence of the bad orange hair man.

Whether this battle starts soon like shortly after a Biden inaugural or later it is still upon us. We will decide when it starts.

One if by land……….We are under attack!!

I am sure you are about as disgusted as I am with with antics of the left and how things are going leading to November 3rd.  The latest is the arson setting forest fires in Oregon and who knows where else.

The left has encouraged a small portion of their constituency that are true antisocial destructive people and it would seem that they are losing control of the situation.  To the hard core socialists who are trying to overthrow the government this is of little consequence.  In their way of thinking, the worse things get the easier it will be for them to take over.  For the rest of us the cost of living will increase and the amount of aggravation will increase as well as life goes forward.  In the end, if the left wins I seriously doubt that this kind of insurrection will result in anything less than a firing squad as they will seek to consolidate their control and eliminate undesirables from both extremes of the political spectrum.

If the right wins (I expect Trump will win) we can expect ever worsening riots and insurrection to such an extent that I think Trump will have to use the federal Insurrection act to put them down.  This will merely whet the appetite of the left and it remains to be seen how bad it will get before the mid term elections.  I wonder how we can rid our society of such rabblerousers without creating further divisions.  I have no problem with vigorous political discourse.  I do have a huge problem with violence and wanton destruction of property.  When this escalates to such an extent that it mirrors an attack on a community like you would see in a war, then it is time to clamp down on the situation and do so with great vigor bordering on zealotry.

Ultimately, the real issue we face is not unfairness in our society.  Yes, we have problems.  Yes, things could be better.  All you need to do to see that we are not that bad is to go anywhere else in the rest of the world and see how difficult things are there as compared to the opportunities here.  No, it is not patterned unfairness that is driving this.

We are under attack.  We have an element of revolutionaries agitating within our society that are fomenting revolution and anarchy as a means to accomplish their goals of socialist conquest.  These people are a menace and 50 years ago would have been arrested for their activities.  Instead, due to politically correct ‘tolerance’ we are letting these people roam freely and not only that but we have some of these agitators who are given pulpits to preach their anti-American dogma on our main stream media who are complicit with them in their efforts.  As an American who understands and loves our founding principles, I see this damage and the erosion to our country and I believe we will be called to stand and fight to preserve our union.  In many ways, the sooner the better.

So, the insanity of our national conversation is wearing on me like it is on everyone who cares at all about  how people are living.  I see the tactics of the left as plain as day.  First, start educating the children that America is bad.  Second, disarm as many citizens as possible to reduce resistance against the movement of socialism.  Third disrupt our social institutions as much as possible to create divisions and distrust within our culture so as to weaken it even more.   Fourth, infiltrate as many ‘institutions’ as possible displacing as many patriots and conservatives as possible from these organizations and governmental agencies.

They have succeeded with all of these and are heading into the home stretch of their conquest of our nation.  This cannot go on unanswered and have our nation remain as founded.  We are rapidly approaching a turning point and we are not doing anything to stop this or reverse our course.

If we wait for the government to do something it is not going to happen soon enough to save us from a bloody conflict. To prevent an out and out war, we need be prepared and ready to face this force aligned against us.

To do so we need to establish and reinforce friendships and alliances that strengthen our communities. We need to stay vigilant and on top of current events and prepared to fend off invaders in our communities who are only there because they want to disrupt our normal lives to bring that element of anarchy into our communities. We need to be ready to do what is necessary if the situation goes critical. If armed conflict starts we are the fundamental roots of our nation and our heritage. We need to be willing and ready to stand up and hold the line if need be. The government is not going to stand up to these people because it has been co-opted by the left the deep state will delay and otherwise hinder any meaningful response until it is almost if not too late.

Politics are a distraction at this point. The hyping of various supposed incidents is pure strategy by the left to advance their agenda and has nothing to do with improving society or bringing us together. Do not expect a peaceful period once the election is over. If anything, things will get worse….much worse….no matter how they go.

I see the reality in the current situation and hope you do as well. All we have to preserve our heritage is each other. I hope my fellow patriots are ready. This is not going to get any easier nor will it go away anytime soon.

The deaths in Kenosha and Portland….CWII has started

It has begun…….

The last few days have given proof that a shooting war has started in our nation.  A civil war between factions, not states.

The battle is over political philosophy and doctrine and not over a singular social issue.  There is a faction who  have decided they are unhappy with the system that brought us from 1776 to the present and they want to completely replace it with socialist based concepts that are truly foreign to our original system of government set forth by the founders.

One problem is that the socialists have done the same thing as Mao and Lenin by claiming that the system in place is patently unfair and that if they are given power they will ‘distribute’ the wealth of our nation out ‘fairly’.  They are the arbiters of what is fair or not and to a great extent this is a revenge based movement and not one dedicated to promoting a fruitful society.

Just as we have seen in Venezuela that the people voted their way into a system like this only to find that they are starving to death, we will inevitably see our nation follow the same path.  This is also what happened in Russia and China.  Once you slay the motivation of making your own way in life and earning as much as you can and replace it with government defined ‘equality’, you find people are not willing to put the effort forth if they cannot reap the benefits of their hard labor and creativity.  You cannot mandate people to excel solely for the benefit of others.

The socialists had to wait until the WWII generation as well as most of the Korean war generation were gone before they could take their movement to the mainstream.  It would not have been tolerated by those who remembered the brutal actions of governments supposedly dedicated to equality as were seen before and during WWII, and after in nations such as China, Cuba and various eastern European nations that were crushed under the Soviet thumb after WWII.

Problem is that even if we can stop the drive of the socialists this time around, as long as they are a viable political entity we will have to keep fighting them and they will up the ante seeking more and more violent confrontations so as to create martyrs to use as symbols of society’s unfairness.  This is even if these supposed ‘martyrs’ are criminals and had been engaging in criminal acts at the time they met their fate.

Our nation had the red scare and despite the awareness of the dangers of communism and socialism now we see them as a threat not just in our society but in our government leaders.   This presence in our government by people professing these beliefs that are antithetical to our founding actually is the threat is the end of our freedoms as we understand them.   You have to understand that to the left, freedom is unfair because they do not control it.  Only when everyone is equally imprisoned in a economic and socially controlling systems will they supposedly be free and equal.  I would add that they are they generally unable to fight their way out of the controls they find themselves in as well.  You see, disarmament is merely one aspect.  Curbs on free speech for some as well as the mandatory activities directed by the state are controls such as in our public schools  are used to maintain order in a socialist society.

Our founders would be spinning in their graves if they knew of the treachery afoot in our nation today including within our government.  Everything we are hearing from the BLM and ANTIFA and socialist representatives is in diametric opposition to the Bill of Rights and the Constitution.   Those founding concepts and documents are the hindrances that the left seek to destroy.

We are in a shooting war now.  Blood has been spilled in socialist controlled cities with only the conservative (founding documents) based individual being held accountable.  This is the pattern we should expect to continue until these revolutionaries are pushed out of power and their followers either arrested, driven from the field or put down whatever way is necessary.  We can no longer sit back and expect others to pull our weight along with them in protecting and preserving our nation.  It is time to stand and be ready to do what is necessary to protect the republic.

Cuomo, the Emperor, demands ventilators; or how you ask for something means a lot!!

Today, our Emperor, Generalissimo Cuomo, demanded ventilators from upstate hospitals to treat some of his ‘Peeps’ in the metro NYC area.  Demanded.  Ordered.  How ever you put it, he did not ASK for them.  He DEMANDED that they be used in NYC.  He is sending the National Guard to get them.  Totalitarian Hunta anyone??????

If there was anyone who needed further proof that we upstate New York residents do not count in the minds of Cuomo and his elite democrat leadership, well, here it is.  He did not ask for the ventilators.  He did not discuss the need hoping for upstate medical facilities to offer them.  He ORDERED that they be sent to NYC.

It is easy to say as a person who lives upstate that we do not count or that we count little in the overall scheme of things.  It is quite another to see in our governor’s own speech that we do not matter and that everything that we have here for our needs will go to New York without question or any resistance from us. We are the bastard step children of the state’s elite democratic leadership and we get scraps from the sumptuous table they serve themselves and their favorite New Yorkers in the metro NYC area.

It would have been nice to have been asked.  It would have been nice to have been given the respect of being asked to help instead of being ordered to give up our specialized medical equipment for use in Metro NYC where they have not shut down the subways or mass transit so the spread of the Covid19 has gone on unabated. Our economy is shut down.  Theirs not so much.

The Colonies revolted due to policies forced upon them by the crown.  What we are seeing is a repeat of the same scenario where a remote political entity is  controlling another without regard for those being controlled wanting these policies or not.  We fought a revolution in order to establish that we as Americans, would not live under such rule. You may argue that today we have an emergency and back in 1775 they had an emergency in England as well due to the ongoing war with France.  The Covid19 battle is in essence a war.

In life you can make friends and you can use people but you cannot use your friends because after a while, they do not want to be your friends any more.  Upstate NY has had it with being a colony for the city of New York.

Seeing our resources scavenged for use in New York City as well as our taxes and our health services is tantamount to being a colony back in 1775 and dealing with King George in the personage of Andrew Cuomo.  He acts the role of a monarch and is destroying the state for the sake of his being important and able to order people around.  This is a man who has never had to have humility or respect people and it is painfully obvious that he never will understand those concepts.

I will add that senators Schumer, Gillibrand and for that matter all of the democratic leadership in both the state of New York as well as Washington DC all have this autocratic attitude that we in fly over country owe them everything.  Truth is we do not and we are sick of their attitudes.

American Exceptionalism: Unification in the name of Freedom.

Before the American Revolution a citizenry had never united as a group without a single charismatic leader.  Yes, I am sure someone will point out some other nation but that may not be the equal to what I am talking about.

What I am saying is that we unified in an idea we hold in common led by an elected group of people who selected a General who reluctantly took the job of leading us who also refused any idea of leadership afterwards without election.  We found our freedom not by following a ‘revolutionary but by following a dream and a vision of freedom for all.

Americans unified to fight the British for our independence and won the war.  We then did not settle for a dictator or central control government.  We stayed free as people who elected representatives.  We remained unified in the name of freedom.

As an American I am blessed with this heritage.  I am blessed with the recognition of my inalienable rights in our Bill of Rights.  As an American aware of this I am committed to the founder’s vision of our nation and the Legacy they left for us.  Call me a traditionalist.  Call me a Constitutionalist.  Call me anything you want but be sure to call me first and foremost a Patriot.

Patriots fought for our rights.  Patriots fought to preserve freedom from oppression by a illegitimate government.  Patriots fought for the cause of freedom and made sure that was the future of our nation instead of falling in line behind  a zealot or charismatic leader who would then rule to preserve their power instead of preserving the people’s power.

Today, we see a government that seemingly is dedicated to returning us back to the days of monarchy where the wrong words can get you arrested and the wrong acts can get you killed.  Our political class is pandering now to smaller and smaller groups instead of protecting the rights of all.  They confiscate the right of freedom of speech to ‘protect’ the feelings of a few.  This is tyranny.

You can mandate preferential treatment of a few but it is far better to preach acceptance and understanding on a voluntary basis as this unifies a society whereas mandates only drive wedges between peoples.

We see the leadership of our nation actively seeking to disarm the population with ever increasingly restrictive regulations.  A free people unified in their love of freedom do not need to be protected by the government.  They by virtue of their freedom can protect themselves.  If the government embraced FREEDOM they would encourage the people to be self reliant and able to protect themselves and the nation if need be.  Instead, they seek to restrict FREEDOM using laws and regulations limiting behavior and speech and the rights to bear arms.  These types of restrictions are what we fought a war against to become a great nation unified in our love of freedom and independence.

Only Tyrants fear the people.  Only tyrants use restrictions to protect the state and its ‘preferred peoples’ from the rest of the population.  It seems that our government is heading down this path towards tyranny and will result ultimately in a revolution if the people wish to stop the tyranny.

States with firearm restrictions are leading this charge against freedom.  They claim that their intent is to make the public safer except that the fact is a disarmed public are no longer citizens but are instead, subjects:  People who are subjected to laws they do not like and cannot resist without penalty and in the most recent cases threats of violence against them by the state.

It has long been time to return to our fundamental roots as Americans and embrace our individual freedoms.  A society that is armed is a respectful society.  We need to unify as a people and make it clear that we will not be subjugated by our governments with laws and regulations that fly in the face of our inalienable rights as given by our creator and guaranteed by our Bill of Rights.

It was exceptional in the world in 1776 that a people united in the quest of freedom for all would fight the most powerful army in the world and win freedom.  It is time that exceptional people come together again dedicated still to that same very purpose.  We are facing, yet again, the most powerful army in the world if our efforts to protect and preserve our freedom comes into conflict.

Our fight at present is in the political arena and it is up to our government to remember that we citizens are free people and it is not the government’s role to define what freedom is.  Let us work to unify as Americans and make it clear to all that we will not surrender what our forefathers fought so desperately for.  FREEDOM.

The Multicultural Diversity Dragon…….or Who let the Claws out????

The left has been using the cudgel of multiculturalism and diversity as a means of gathering more and more people who have been convinced they are ‘oppressed’ by the ‘establishment’; a.k.a. republicans, conservatives and big business.  We have seen this grow from gay marriage now to transgender issues all the while painting the establishment as being evil, nazi, slavers who wish to deny anyone who is not exactly like them any opportunities in society.  Where or when did this crusade begin?

At first glance it would seem that the Civil Rights act is a good place to start.  Policy set by the government in regulatory form is one thing.  Policy set as law is quite another.  The problem with law is that it is open to interpretation in court.  While the same is true with regulatory policies, law, as it is interpreted by the civil courts affects all of the citizens of the nation as opposed to a specific group or issue as regulatory issues would.

So we start moving forward with the Civil Rights act to the establishment of the EEOC and even more efforts to curb ‘discrimination’ of all forms.  At first it was opportunity that was in question.  Now that has been perverted into not opportunity but equality in income and security as well as shelter and even protecting people who live on the street.  Give me a law or regulation and I will guarantee you a lawyer will find a way to pervert or parse it so that a specific client group will benefit.

We move to the Clinton presidency and we see the further aggravation of society with the push by ‘minority groups’ for inclusion in the framework of society with the threat of litigation if they are not accepted.  This activity of empowering supposedly ‘suppressed’ groups has an interesting backlash that we are now seeing in today’s society.  As the various splinter factions of the gender/sexual orientation/ethic/immigrant community all vie for a place at the table at the same time, a major group (Deplorable Nation) in society is being excluded from the table as a byproduct.  Whether this is desired or just a fortunate outcome for the left is hard to say but it exists nonetheless.

This movement is a dragon consuming anything in its path.  Like a cancer, the fabric that has sustained the American society for over 200 years is being torn asunder and little is left except rags and remnants fighting for survival.  Deplorable Nation is a perfect example of a majority being forced off the island so to speak.  Urged on by the democrat and socialist overlords the activists rain insult and accusation upon the majority while refusing to listen or acknowledge any of what this majority holds as being important and necessary for society to survive.  If you consider the ‘minority movement’ as being a large predator, much like a shark, it is getting bigger and bigger and more and more voracious for conquest of those perceived as being ‘undesirable’.

If you take a few minutes to review some history of the last 150 years you see wars fought for freedom that were controlled and prodded by certain factions for purposes not necessarily beneficial to the masses.  Lenin and the USSR along with China and Mao demonstrate that once in power the very force that put them there is dissembled and disarmed and relegated to a bleak sameness of society that seemed to embrace the very poverty they arose out of.  In revolutions there is usually a leadership behind the masses who are playing for themselves and using the forces of the aggrieved to attain their goals.  We can guess at the identity of this hidden hand on the tiller of the present day movement but will not know who will be standing at the end until that time, if ever, comes about.

Fanatical leaders often use scapegoats for targets to direct their rabid followers upon to maintain control and also demonstrate power to anyone who dare challenge them.  The Jews in Germany are a prime example as are the whites in South Africa in today’s news.  You can add Christians in Islamic nations and societies as well to this list.  Any perceived discrimination that may have occurred between the targeted group and society pale in the actual discrimination that befalls this target group.  Mass murders, land seizures and subjugation into slavery are typical and to be expected.  This is due to the encouraged lack of regard for the individuals who are the targets of a regime or movement.

Today we see Deplorable Nation being targeted by the left for elimination from the governance of our nation one way or another.  The typical Deplorable citizen is white, Christian, heterosexual  and employed.  None of these attributes hold any animus for anyone else but as a group Deplorables hold conservative ideals close to heart and as a result resist the massive changes that the disaffected left wants to promote.  This places them in the path of the juggernaut of the left which is hell bent on gaining power and influence.  Consider that none of these minority groups in and of themselves have ever made a huge dent politically in our society.  It is only due to the rallying of these groups under the tent and flag of the democratic party that we see them gaining publicity and power.  This is a direct result of the prodding of the leadership of the left to instigate its followers into acts of protest and violence.

I am sure the leadership of the democrats think that they are in control of this ‘mob’.  I am sure at the highest levels that there is a selected few who truly are controlling the movement but what is not as obvious is that the democratic leadership are typically the same color and in many cases hold the very same values as the people they are urging their followers to attack.

My main point is this:  At some point, those who released the dragon; the democrats; may very well be eaten by the beast they created.    At some point, the leadership on the left including the likes of all the presidential candidates on the democratic side along with the ilk such as Soros will all find themselves at the pointed end of the spear of the very groups they nurtured and promoted in order to gain power themselves.

Daniel Greenfield of Frontpage Magazine wrote:

“..We aren’t facing a civil war because of the strain on our political system, but on the tribes of our culture.

Free nations where people elect their leaders don’t fall apart because of political differences, unless they reflect deeper cultural divisions. That’s why the Left made winning the culture war its priority.

The Founders didn’t create a system for coping with cultural differences. We had one or we didn’t. While the Left claims to war on intolerance, no political system can do that. Only a moral system can. Our values can bring us together or tear us apart. They can convince us to fight for each other or kill each other. They can remind us of what we have in common or make us deadly enemies.     These days, it’s mostly the latter…”

(my thanks to Ace of Spades for posting this tidbit today).

As our nation continues down this road of diversity which is akin to tribalism, I see that our nation may likely be consumed and destroyed including all the heritage and people who got us this far all for the cause of ‘inclusion’ and Anti-discrimination’.  If this comes to pass, Deplorable Nation will be devoured first but what the left fails to see is that they are next on the hit list.  This collective movement is dedicated to removing any trace of what they perceive as having discriminated against them and eventually even their sponsors, the democrats, will be consumed.

This dragon is on the loose and is getting bigger by the day.  Before long, it will become uncontrollable and will devour its liberators.

Freedom-Opportunity-Equality: 1776 versus 2019

Our forefathers fought a revolution to rid the colonies of a foreign rule where they had no say in government.   Among the things they fought for were Liberty, Opportunity and Equality.  These values were enshrined in the Declaration of Independence, the US Constitution and the Bill of Rights.  Somehow, the meaning of these values has been altered and in many ways to the detriment of the people.

When the founders used the term Liberty they meant that they could live and prosper in a community where their government did not interfere with the day to day lives of the citizens.  This government would be responsible to the people via the legislative process.

When the founders thought of Opportunity they were referring to their ability to adapt, move or otherwise avail themselves of the abilities and assets they could attain in order to make their way in life.  Freedom to acquire land and resources without a government’s consent.

When the founders thought of equality they did not think of the notion that every member of their society would be taken care of by the government.  They felt that equality was the virtue of each person have the Opportunity and the Liberty to pursue their own destiny; to take care of themselves.  At no time did these concepts ever be thought of as a mandate for the government doling out the assets of others to those who chose not to find their own means of support.  The revolution was fought and won to stop government from taking money from the people for uses the people did not approve of.

One of the human frailties that the founders accepted without question is the reality that some people are more able to achieve than others due solely to their personal abilities and intelligence.  Not everyone was destined to be business leaders of the best craftsman.  Knowing this, the founders still put a high value on the work ethic and that a person could support themselves if they desired to.  For the infirm and the for those who had a profound lack of abilities and who could not do this, family and the church were the resources that would act to provide for this small group within society.

In modern times we find that these three values have been perverted into all manners of definitions in order to justify the re-distribution of wealth within society.  You have to ask yourself why this should be a priority in our society and government today.  Especially since we have left the concept of freedom so far behind us.

In many ways society is not rewarding those who are truly skilled and capable; in fact, the government is penalizing these people for their success using the justification that their wealth is unfair to those who cannot achieve as well.  The founders would be absolutely aghast at the concept of welfare and the social services system we have today.

There were ‘wealthy’ landowners in revolutionary times as there are now.  There were the most highly skilled and therefore high earning professionals in the revolutionary era as there are now.   Life is inherently NOT FAIR.  Let me repeat.  Life is not always fair!

What we see in society today is that the government is in the business of rewarding those who choose do not to work and taxing the rest to support them.  All of this is under the concept of making things ‘FAIR’.  I would like someone to explain to me how choosing to not work is justification for the rest of the people being taxed to support them?  All of the concepts that the founders had fought for are being destroyed by these programs of doling out money and food stuffs along with lodging to those who do not work.

You cannot help but accept that the entire notion of the government playing Robin Hood is politically motivated.  Most of those who receive the largess of government vote. Knowing this the politician who does not respect of value of the founding concepts can use the ‘DOLE’ to buy votes.  In the interest of maintaining an election advantage keeping the economy on the skids serves to reward the party and politicians who advocate and lobby for doling out even more to the unemployed and the supposedly ‘unemployable’.  IF you need proof, look at the 8 years we lived under president obama and how weak the employment market was and how much the social programs grew.  He even told us that our best days as a nation were behind us.  Looking at the flourishing economy under President Trump my suspicion that obama was wrong has been proven to be correct.

We have strayed so far from where our nation started and now we see the push to remove firearms from the hands of the citizens.  The one thing that the founders wanted the government to always be aware of was that the people had the power to take their government back if for some reason those who served in the government were failing to do as the people desired.  By disarming the people, we will all become SUBJECTS who are controlled by the elite and then we cannot do anything to stop the government from running roughshod over those who they tax.

Our runaway deep state government bureaucracy is  strangling our freedoms and I can say with some confidence are ruling against the will of the people.  The vast majority of this cabal are appointed and cannot be removed without evidence of illegal or improper behavior.  This means that once a person makes it into the federal government workforce they are in effect on the dole for the rest of their lives.  I will admit there are valuable members of the bureaucracy but they are far outweighed by the chaff and waste that is the majority of the government.

We need to assert our rights and demand that they not be revoked or impaired by any governmental action or legislation.  Our nation depends on the concepts that we were founded upon and the farther we drift from those due to legislative manipulation the worse our society will get.  If the welfare state is allowed to continue to grow unabated we are doomed.  It is just a question of time until the revolution will start.

As it has been said by many notable and far better versed than I, The problem with socialism is that eventually you run out of other people’s money.  The liberals do not want to discuss this particular problem that exists with their giveaway policies.  I strongly suggest that they be forced to deal with this now and not later.

Why the 2nd Amendment is vital to our future as a Free Society

While the politicians spew sound bites regarding disarming the population “For our own good” I cannot help but ponder why they fixate on an issue that is not as ‘prominent’ as they make it out to be. Then I extend my curiosity to the real motivation as to why the left wants to disarm us.

Perhaps it is a ‘woke’ notion of egalitarian nobleness that they hold? The idea that ‘intelligent’ societies do not have weapons as they are not necessary. Yea, a few of them believe this.

Perhaps it is a desire to honestly end gun violence by simply getting rid of all guns? Maybe, but it will be impossible to truly eliminate guns from society. A lot of other countries have earnestly tried and it does not work. Innocent people still die.

Perhaps it is out of a fear of guns? A couple of generations ago I would have laughed at this idea but with the brain washing that we see in schools and media, this one has some merit.

The previous notions reflect an emotional logic that I can understand even though I vehemently disagree with the basic premises.

Sometimes we need to consult recorded patterns of societal behavior from history in order to understand behavior we see in the present.

Venezuela banned guns. Venezuela is starving despite having a huge oil reserve that could be tapped to support their society. Why did Venezuela ban guns? To stop the citizens of that country from overthrowing the ‘Dictatorial regime’ that is starving their nation with ‘Socialism’.

WWII. Hitler disarmed the population of every country they occupied including Germany. Once disarmed the citizens could not resist the orders of the leadership that led to the murder of over 10 million people and this is outside of the casualties that arose from the combat that was waged as a result of the aggression of the German leadership.

Russia and the resulting USSR. Lenin inspired the populace to revolt and they ousted the monarchy and also eliminated an entire class of citizenry perceived to be ‘upper class’. Once government domination was achieved, firearms were outlawed with a very few exceptions. Once disarmed the population faced the point of a bayonet at the end of a rifle controlled by the state and this proved deadly for many million Russian citizens who during Stalin’s purges disappeared into Siberia never to be seen again;.

In China following the revolution, gun ownership was restricted to ‘party approved’ organizations which basically limited firearms ownership to people who the party could control. The history of socialist China is fraught with famines and up until the 70’s isolation from the rest of the world. Their society is a very tightly run nation with conformance to the norms essentially mandatory. The concept of a population in China actually rebelling is far from any notion of reality.

In 3 of the 4 previous examples, firearms were used to secure power but once domination was achieved the ownership of firearms became either impossible or only by state sanctioned groups. In Venezuela, the socialist government was elected to power and after a few years outlawed firearms and now the nation is embroiled in starvation and shortages along with absolute control of society by the military controlled by the government.

My point is that banning guns is the equivalent of disenfranchising the people. When the ballot box fails to remove a undesirable element ruling the nation the only option left to the people is revolt and reset the government.  This is only possible by a people being armed comparably to the state.   The state will quickly lose its respect for the people once the people cannot confront the state with their grievances and that the people must have the means to overthrow government if the need arises.

The founders knew that any government has the propensity to abuse its power. Our government is intended to be a support and protector of the people but in time it has become an entity unto itself and the preservation of the concentration of its power and influence has moved its agenda to one where the people are less important than the system of government itself.   This ‘deep state’ is the tyranny that our founders feared would rise up in our nation.

We are faced in today’s political arena of discussion the idea that the people should be disarmed or at least severely restricted in firearms ownership.  One politician goes so far as to say that gun ownership of smooth bore muskets should be the only allowed weaponry.  This is based on an antiquated view of not only the Second Amendment but the entire notion of citizen’s rights in general.

Since there is no argument that has any merit that argues that eliminating firearms in society will end gun violence then the only logical assumption is that eliminating firearms from society serves to protect those in power.  This in effect prevents any uprising if the government rules against the will of the people.  Simply put, the government fears the armed citizen.  This is as it should be.

Our problem is that the government via its socialist political activists all are trying to convince the people to disarm.  Looking at Venezuela I am not really all that enthusiastic about giving the government full control over society and my safety and well being.

History proves that disarmed people are subjects and not citizens.  Subjects are a class of people who are in essence, subject to the whims of the the controlling group in society.  My advice to any who care at all about their future and the future of their progeny is to not surrender any weapons willingly and to put the leadership on notice that we stand armed and will defend the Constitution with force in order to preserve our rights.

This is as the Founders intended things to be.  The time they arose from was full of tyranny and dictatorial governance and they sought to ensure America would remain a nation of free citizens.  They invested their hope in framing our Constitution and Bill of Rights in such a way that the citizens that followed would be free.

We owe it to our ancestors as well as our future generations that we hold our ground on this issue.
